Dr Newman is a GP Registrar with broad hospital-based experience across a range of medical specialties. She grew up in the United Kingdom before moving to Perth as a teenager and completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 2019.

Following graduation, Dr Newman worked at Royal Perth Hospital and Armadale Hospital, gaining experience across emergency medicine, paediatrics, general medical specialties and psychiatry. This diverse clinical background has provided her with experience caring for patients with a wide range of acute and ongoing healthcare needs. Now working in general practice, she enjoys supporting patients across all stages of life and values the variety that family medicine provides.

Dr Newman takes a patient-centred and evidence-based approach to care, with a focus on listening to patients and understanding their individual health needs. As a GP Registrar, she values continuity of care and supporting patients with preventative health, health assessments, mental health and chronic disease management alongside everyday general practice concerns. Outside medicine, Dr Newman enjoys spending time with friends and family, riding her motorcycle and keeping fit.
